Major Punishment Is Coming For Bengals Star Ja’Marr Chase

Major punishment is coming for Cincinnati Bengals star Ja’Marr Chase after video surfaced of his interaction with Jalen Ramsey.

Ramsey was ejected from Sunday’s game against the Bengals. Pittsburgh topped Cincinnati, 34-12, on Sunday afternoon. The Steelers improved to 6-4 on the year with the win, while the Bengals dropped to 3-7.

The Steelers defensive back was ejected from the game after punching Chase with 12 minutes remaining in the fourth quarter. He said postgame that Chase, one of the league’s best wide receivers, spit on him. Chase denied the accusation.

Ramsey and Chase had both been flagged for 15-yard personal misconduct penalties in the fourth quarter. However, they continued jarring with one another, before Ramsey threw a punch. He was promptly ejected.

Chase vehemently denied spitting on Ramsey following the game.

“I never opened my mouth to that guy … I didn’t spit on nobody,” he told reporters postgame on Sunday.

However, video would suggest otherwise. Video from the field appears to show Chase spitting on Ramsey. It’s pretty indisputable.

Major punishment is coming for Chase

A major fine and possible suspension are coming for the Cincinnati Bengals star wide receiver after Sunday’s incident.

Earlier this season, Eagles star Jalen Carter was ejected from the season opener against the Cowboys, after getting caught spitting on Dak Prescott. Carter essentially served a one-game suspension for the incident, as he missed the entire game.

Chase was not ejected for Sunday’s incident, as the refs missed the spitting. But the video looks clear on Sunday.

The Cincinnati Bengals star wide receiver can expect a hefty fine and likely suspension for the incident, as the NFL isn’t going to tolerate spitting on opponents. The disastrous season for the Cincinnati Bengals continues, with their best player now set to be punished.
