BREAKING : Quinnen Williams ‘huge fan’ of Cowboys’ high-octane offense

Quinnen Williams has gone from a team where the offense struggled to score points to one of the best in football with the Dallas Cowboys.

With the New York Jets averaging just 21 points per game (ranks 24th) and having only had two games of 30+ points, to now being on the other side with Dak Prescott and Co., who average 29.2 points per game (ranks 4th), and have three games of 40+ points, that is a big difference.

And make no mistake about it, Quinnen can’t wait to watch Brian Schottenheimer’s offense do its thing now that he is a part of the team.

“I’m super excited,” Williams said. “You got a bunch of great guys, George Pickers, I’m a huge fan of his, CeeDee Lamb, huge fan of his, Dak [Prescott] has been great since he got in the league. So, I’m super familiar with this offense and his O-line because I just played him a couple of months ago, but I’m super excited to be a part of a team, not only a team, but an organization that’s going to win and going to do good things.”

Willams addition to ease offensive workload on Dak and Co.

That is going to be the plan, and there have been countless times when the offense has been on fire and the defense just needs one stop to give the ball back to the offense, and the Cowboys more than likely go on to win, or go and win the game, but that hasn’t happened.

When the offense scores, the defense allows a touchdown, usually straight away.

But with Williams now in the middle of the defense, coupled with fellow new arrival Logan Wilson, and the returns of DeMarvion Overshown, Malik Hooker, and Donovan Wilson from injury, this Dallas defense might see a little uptick in improvement.

And if this unit can stop the run, and make things a little tougher in the passing game, get some stops (even turnovers), then playing that complementary football will see the Cowboys win more games than they lose.

Yes, this year might already be too far gone to save, but building blocks can be put in place for 2026 and beyond.
