BREAKING : When will Quinshon Judkins return? Injury update, timeline for Browns RB

Quinshon Judkins injury update: Latest news, timeline for Browns RB

Quinshon Judkins has been shouldering the load for the Cleveland Browns’ offense since making his debut. So it should come as no surprise that the rookie is dealing with a shoulder injury coming out of the bye week.

Judkins first suffered the injury during the Browns’ Week 8 contest against the New England Patriots. The running back was given an extra week to heal and now all eyes are on his status for Week 10.

The Browns are set to travel to New Jersey to battle the New York Jets, who are also coming off a bye week of their own.

It was a quiet injury for Judkins, lacking in fanfare and attention. He was in the game one moment and gone the next. Whether that provided some insight into what could’ve been a minor issue is anyone’s guess, but the news that came out on Nov. 3 paints a good picture.

Here’s the latest on Judkins.

When will Quinshon Judkins return?

Judkins returned to practice on Nov. 3, according to The Athletic’s Zac Jackson.

It was the Browns’ first practice after their Week 9 bye and the first since Judkins left the team’s last game with a shoulder injury.

Head coach Kevin Stefanski initially indicated that the rookie was day-to-day. Couple that with Judkins’ participation on Nov. 3 and there appears to be plenty of room for optimism.

The most telling update will come on Nov. 5, when Cleveland releases its initial Week 10 injury report. Judkins is eyeing a matchup against a Jets run defense that has been leaky all season long.

Judkins is the unquestioned RB1 in Cleveland’s room, while Ford is the veteran presence that serves as a receiving back. The other rookie in the room, Sampson, has taken a back seat after Judkins returned, leaving him on the outside looking in.
