BREAKING: Green Bay Packers Get Huge Injury Update Before Week 12

Green Bay Packers, Jaire Alexander, Davante Adams

The Green Bay Packers are gearing up for a massive showdown against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 12 NFL action. This week’s game is a huge test for the Packers to see where they stand in the NFC.

Granted, the 49ers have struggled this season and are just 5-5 entering this week’s game. But, they are the defending NFC champions and were the team that knocked Green Bay out of the playoffs last season.

Unfortunately, the Packers are facing what could be a very big injury absence this week.

Green Bay Packers Get Huge Injury Update Before Week 12

Jaire Alexander, Green Bay’s star cornerback, left the team’s Week 11 game against the Chicago Bears with an injury. He has missed a ton of time once again this season due to injury.

At this point in time, his status against the 49ers is unknown.

However, what is known is that he missed practice on Wednesday. That leads to the belief that the Green Bay Packers may be forced to play without their star corner against a very talented San Francisco offense.

In order to be the best defense they’re capable of being, the Packers need Alexander on the field. He’s a huge playmaker for the secondary and is one of the best cover cornerbacks in the NFL.

Without him, Green Bay has struggled with consistency at the position. Hopefully, he’s able to get healthy enough to play, but he hasn’t been able to stay on the field over the last couple of years.

This will be a major storyline to follow throughout the rest of the week.

Going up against Brock Purdy is never an easy task. If the Green Bay Packers don’t have Alexander on the field, they will need other players to step up in a big way.

Expect to hear more updates about Alexander’s status in the near future. As they become available, we’ll make sure to share them with you.
