Kansas City Chiefs HC Andy Reid spotlights veteran DL Mike Danna's breakout performance - Yahoo Sports

The Kansas City Chiefs extended their winning streak to three games on Monday after defeating the Washington Commanders in Week 8. Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, during his postgame press conference, spotlighted veteran defensive lineman Mike Danna’s performance in the victory.

“I thought he did a great job,” said Reid, “That was a big play there. So one of those turnovers when they were driving the field, he comes in, he made it look easy, but that’s not an easy thing to do. And then he had a little YAC (Yards After Catch) after it. So he did pretty good.”

A standout performance from Danna, who collected an interception and a sack in Monday’s victory. He has made a complete comeback from a hip injury suffered in Week 2 against the Philadelphia Eagles that cost him two games.

The Chiefs’ defense held Washington to only seven points, further demonstrating their dominance in recent weeks—the momentum they aim to carry into their highly anticipated Week 9 matchup with the Buffalo Bills.
