
TheĀ Kansas City ChiefsĀ have been rolling as of late.
Kansas City has won two straight games, defeating theĀ Las Vegas RaidersĀ and theĀ Detroit LionsĀ to advance to 4-3 on the season.
While thereās mostly smiles in the Kansas City facility, they received an unfortunate update ahead of their Week 8 matchup against theĀ Washington Commanders.
The Kansas City Chiefs announced that rookie defensive tackle Omarr Norman-Lott has been placed on injured reserve. Lott has suffered a season-ending torn ACL and will miss the remainder of his rookie season with the Chiefs.
In an ensuing move, the Chiefs signed cornerback Kevin Knowles to an active roster contract.

Omarr Norman-Lott has emerged as a solid contributor for the Kansas City Chiefs during his rookie season in theĀ NFL. Throughout his rookie season with the Chiefs, Lott has posted one sack and one solo tackle.
Lott was drafted by the Chiefs in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft. He played for theĀ Tennessee VolunteersĀ at the collegiate level and spent time with the Arizona State Sun Devils.

Kevin Knowles will now have an opportunity to make an impact on the Kansas City Chiefs. Knowles has spent time on the Chiefsā practice squad after playingĀ college footballĀ with theĀ Florida StateĀ Seminoles.
The former college football star played at Florida State from 2021 to 2024, working under head coach Mike Norvell.
