Cam Heyward: Steelers defense 'unacceptable' in loss to Joe Flacco, Bengals

Cincinnati Bengals Quarterback Joe Flacco Turns Back the Clock In Pittsburgh Steelers Win | Yardbarker

The most recent example is Cam Heyward appearing to punch quarterback Joe Flacco after sacking him in the fourth quarter of the Bengals win on Thursday Night Football:

Defenders have gotten so good at punching the ball out in recent history, that it isn’t uncommon to see a swing a few times a game. They all don’t land on or near the ball, but that isn’t really what is being called out here. Flacco was clearly down and well after the whistle Heyward goes in for a punch on the 40-year-old quarterback’s torso area.

It just isn’t a football move at that point. You have to call it what it is and say it is a cheap shot.
