BREAKING : 🚨 Patrick Mahomes Sends Shockwave Through NFL After Chiefs’ Dominant Win – Is This a Warning to the League? 👀

All In With Ashley: NFL Week 7 Best BetsThe Kansas City Chiefs put together their best overall performance of the season in Week 7, cruising to a 31-0 victory over their AFC West rivals, the Las Vegas Raiders. This prompted Patrick Mahomes to send a clear message to the rest of the NFL on just how dangerous he believes the Chiefs can be moving forward.

After dropping their first two games of the season, some questioned whether the Chiefs would truly contend in the AFC. Those questions have since been answered emphatically by Mahomes and company, who have won four of their last five games.

One big reason for the impressive offensive outing on Sunday seems to be wide receiver Rashee Rice, who returned from a six-game suspension. Rice didn’t waste any time making an immediate impact for the Chiefs in his return to play, hauling in a team-high seven receptions for 42 yards and two receiving touchdowns.

Now that Mahomes has his full complement of receivers at his disposal, it sure seems like the Chiefs’ offense will be hard to stop moving forward, which Mahomes alluded to during his postgame interview on the field with CBS sideline reporter Tracy Wolfson.

“I think you saw, he gets so much attention because he is such a special football player,” said Mahomes of Rashee Rice. “Whenever you get the football to him, he makes stuff happen. So it was good to get him back out here and get the offense rolling. We’re running at a high level all we can do is continue to get better and better. We’re gonna keep working, keep trying to get better. Keep incorporating Rashee and everybody else, and see where we can get to.”

Even before Rice’s return to the field, Mahomes was showing signs of being more comfortable with his weapons around him in the past weeks.

Sunday’s game marks the fourth consecutive game that the three-time Super Bowl champion has thrown for over 250 yards. He scored a total of 13 combined passing and rushing touchdowns over this four-game stretch.

Given how Kansas City is set to face some tough competition, with a Week 8 game against the Washington Commanders and a Week 9 game against the Buffalo Bills on the horizon, it sure seems like the Chiefs are hitting their stride at the exact right time. So it will certainly be interesting to see how the Chiefs build off this growing momentum in the coming weeks.
