BREAKING : Lions get great news on injured cornerback heading into Week 7

Those of us who are old enough to remember the old Detroit Lions are still shocked when this team gets two prime time games in a row.

Last week, the Lions dropped a tough one to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football. This week, the Lions will welcome the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to Ford Field for what should be a classic Monday Night Football matchup.

Just like last season, the Lions are dealing with some key injuries to players at key positions. Starting cornerback Terrion Arnold injured his shoulder in the team’s win over the Cincinnati Bengals two weeks ago. At first, it was believed that Arnold would be out for an extended period of time.

However, fans got a huge surprise at the team’s practice on Friday.

Lions beat reporter from The Athletic, Colton Pouncy, shared a video of Arnold in action during the team’s practice on Friday.

The Lions are already without another starting cornerback in D.J. Reed. Also, the team will be without starting safety Brian Branch, who is suspended for Week 7 after an altercation in the Chiefs game.

The chances of Arnold playing on Monday may be slim. However, it appears the team is getting him back a lot closer than they realized.
