Patriots Injury Report: Stefon Diggs Dealing With Worrying Ailment

The New England Patriots are on a roll as they head into Week 7. Having won each of their past three games, the Pats have jumped up to the No. 1 seed in the AFC East as they prepare for their upcoming contest against the Tennessee Titans.

Considering how the Titans just fired their head coach, Brian Callahan, earlier this week, this is a game that the Patriots will likely be heavily favored to win. However, their success could ultimately depend on who ends up taking the field for them in this game.

As always, injuries play a big role in the preparations for each game, and this week, New England has some new names on their initial injury report. The most noteworthy of the bunch was star wide receiver Stefon Diggs, who was limited due to a chest injury.

Diggs has largely managed to stay healthy so far this season after working his way back from a torn ACL he suffered last season. The good news is that he still was able to participate in some capacity, but it appears he’s a bit banged up heading into the team’s next game.

Elsewhere, Jaylinn Hawkins and Anfernee Jennings did not participate in practice after missing New England’s win over the New Orleans Saints in Week 6. Harold Landry III joined them on the sidelines after suffering an ankle injury against the Saints, although it is worth noting he finished the game.

In more encouraging news, Christian Gonzalez logged a full participation as he continues to deal with a lingering hamstring injury, while Keion White also practiced fully after missing Week 6 with an elbow injury.

As is the case with all of these injuries, there’s still a lot of time for things to change, as the team has two more practices on Thursday and Friday. Diggs will look to log a full participation when he takes the field next in order to get himself off the injury report before the Pats clash with the Titans.
