It’s only been a day since their Week 6 loss, but the Cincinnati Bengals are diving in to practice for Week 7 against the Pittsburgh Steelers . . . almost.

Cincinnati did not practice Monday due to the limited rest time, but three injury reports still need to be submitted by each club leading up to kickoff. Here’s a look at which players would be dealing with injuries in an estimated injury report:

Bengals Monday injury report

Player Injury M/T/W Designation
LG Dylan Fairchild Knee Full
TE Mike Gesicki Pectoral DNP
DE Trey Hendrickson Hip DNP
DT B.J. Hill NIR – (Rest) DNP
TE Tanner Hudson Concussion DNP
WR Charlie Jones Ribs DNP
RT Amarius Mims Ankle Full
OL Lucas Patrick Calf Full
DE Shemar Stewart Ankle Full

Observations

  • Head coach Zac Taylor confirmed to reporters Monday tight end Mike Gesicki (pectoral) will not play Thursday night and could be out for “a while” with his injury. Do not expect him to practice at all this week.
  • Taylor also kept it up in the air whether or not defensive end Trey Hendrickson (hip) can play. He’s considered day-to-day.
  • Left guard Dylan Fairchild (knee) was questionable to play last week but could not, so it’s a positive to see him capable of going full Monday. He has a chance to return to the starting lineup.
  • Guard Lucas Patrick (calf) started practicing last week after missing the previous four games but still needs to be activated to the 53-man roster before he can play again.

Steelers Monday injury report

Player Injury M/T/W Designation
WR D.K. Metcalf NIR – Rest DNP
CB Jalen Ramsey NIR – Rest DNP
QB Aaron Rodgers NIR – Rest DNP
WR Calvin Austin III Shoulder DNP
CB Darius Slay NIR – Rest DNP
S Miles Killebrew Knee DNP
OLB T.J. Watt NIR – Rest DNP
DT Cameron Heyward NIR – Rest DNP

Observations

  • Wide receiver Calvin Austin III (shoulder) and safety Miles Killebrew (knee) are the only Steelers with injuries listed. Everyone else including quarterback Aaron Rodgers and outside linebacker T.J. Watt would’ve had rest days.
