It’s only been a day since their Week 6 loss, but the Cincinnati Bengals are diving in to practice for Week 7 against the Pittsburgh Steelers . . . almost.
Cincinnati did not practice Monday due to the limited rest time, but three injury reports still need to be submitted by each club leading up to kickoff. Here’s a look at which players would be dealing with injuries in an estimated injury report:
Bengals Monday injury report
| Player | Injury | M/T/W | Designation |
| LG Dylan Fairchild | Knee | Full | – |
| TE Mike Gesicki | Pectoral | DNP | – |
| DE Trey Hendrickson | Hip | DNP | – |
| DT B.J. Hill | NIR – (Rest) | DNP | – |
| TE Tanner Hudson | Concussion | DNP | – |
| WR Charlie Jones | Ribs | DNP | – |
| RT Amarius Mims | Ankle | Full | – |
| OL Lucas Patrick | Calf | Full | – |
| DE Shemar Stewart | Ankle | Full | – |
Observations
- Head coach Zac Taylor confirmed to reporters Monday tight end Mike Gesicki (pectoral) will not play Thursday night and could be out for “a while” with his injury. Do not expect him to practice at all this week.
- Taylor also kept it up in the air whether or not defensive end Trey Hendrickson (hip) can play. He’s considered day-to-day.
- Left guard Dylan Fairchild (knee) was questionable to play last week but could not, so it’s a positive to see him capable of going full Monday. He has a chance to return to the starting lineup.
- Guard Lucas Patrick (calf) started practicing last week after missing the previous four games but still needs to be activated to the 53-man roster before he can play again.
