THE CINCINNATI BENGALS have released Mike White amid a rough start to the season.
The Bengals are enduring a 2-3 record so far in the 2025 NFL campaign forcing head coach Zac Taylor to shake things up.

According to ESPN, Cincinnati have started by cutting White, 30, from their practice squad.
The franchise signed the quarterback in September after Joe Burrow‘s injury in Week 2.
Burrow could be sidelined for the remainder of the season.
The 28-year-old suffered a turf toe injury during the Bengals’ win over the Jacksonville Jaguars two weeks ago.
Burrow has reportedly fully torn a tendon, ligament and a “capsule” in his foot.
And the QB is more likely to return for the playoffs if Cincinnati manage to get there.
The Bengals initially brought in Joe Flacco to become their starting quarterback.
But Jake Browning has started the last three games for the Bengals, which have all ended in defeat.
White was resigned to the practice squad before his dismissal.
Fans immediately stormed social media after learning of his dismissal.
One supporter tweeted: “Why? He should be the starter.”
Another commented: “Oh no.”
A third wrote: “Tough break for Mike White.”
This fan said: “Oh boy! Here we go.”
Another stint ends
That one posted: “Big move by the Bengals!”
And finally a supporter stated: “Wow!”
White started his career in 2018 when he joined the Dallas Cowboys after some impressive performances in college.
The Florida native played for the likes of South Florida and Western Kentucky.
After a year in Dallas, he moved to the New York Jets where he spent two seasons.
Short stints at the Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills soon followed.
