Shedeur Sanders, rookie quarterback for the Cleveland Browns, has been facing a lot of heat recently after he made comments against other signal-callers in the league. Sanders, who is yet to play his first game in the NFL, made remarks that he is certainly better than other QBs in the league. The rookie, who is certainly eager to make his first appearance on the field, did not exactly name names.

After his comments, Sanders has been at the receiving end of plenty of backlash from various sports personalities, including former NFL coach, Rex Ryan. Sanders’ mother, Pilar Sanders immediately got her mama bear claws out and took a shot at Ryan through an Instagram post.

“To young Athletes and Football fans, This is what impotent, cancerous, envious energy looks like. This type of Evile goes waaay back – you can cut it with a knife – embedded in blood and bones seeping through all of the rotting worm holes it has. What and who does he really represent? Please 🤫 Tsk tsk tsk Enuff!.” Shedeur Sanders’ mother, Pilar Sanders, wrote in her Instagram post, sharing a picture of Rex Ryan.

Shedeur Sanders has perhaps been the most controversial player in the Cleveland Browns camp this season. Sanders was bagged in the fifth round of the draft by the Browns, but is currently listed as QB3 in the team’s depth chart. Sanders is still waiting for a chance to prove himself, but with his current position, he might have to wait for a long time.

Shedeur Sanders’ Father Shares Cryptic Comment On Dillon Gabriel

Shedeur Sanders recently shared an Instagram post, including a picture of rookie quarterback and QB2 Dillon Gabriel. Sanders’ father, Deion ‘Coach Prime’ Sanders commented “cotton candy” under the post, which some speculate is a criticism of Gabriel’s performance.

Gabriel has had several chances to play in this 2025 NFL season and has managed to grab a single touchdown so far. Meanwhile, Sanders still sits on the bench as he awaits an opportunity to play for the Cleveland Browns.

On another note, there are rumors going around that Sanders may soon want to be traded to another team. There are several options available, but the best choice would be the Baltimore Ravens whose starting quarterback, Lamar Jackson, was injured in the previous matchup.
