BREAKING NEWS : Two Packers offensive linemen out vs. Cowboys, one listed as questionable

GREEN BAY (WLUK) — The Packers will be without two offensive linemen and possibly a third for Sunday’s matchup in Dallas.

Right tackle Zach Tom (oblique) and rookie Anthony Belton (ankle) were both ruled out on Friday’s injury report.

Meanwhile, left guard Aaron Banks (groin) is listed as questionable to suit up Sunday.

Packers offensive coordinator Adam Stenavich said “that’s the nature of the NFL” when asked this week about injuries affecting the Packers offensive line.

“The thing is, you can’t make excuses. Because winning and losing, that’s what it’s all about,” Stenavich said. “The expectation is for the position. So, whoever’s playing right guard or left guard or whatever, the expectation is to go out there and help the Green Bay Packers win. I’m just excited to go out there and watch how these guys respond and play.”

Tom was inactive week two against the Commanders, allowing Belton to make his first career start at right tackle.

When Tom hurt himself against the Browns, Jordan Morgan played the rest of the first half at right tackle. When Banks injured himself in the game, Morgan slid over to left guard and Belton took over at right tackle for the second half.

If Banks is inactive Sunday, the Packers offensive line will likely be this: Rasheed Walker at left tackle, Morgan at left guard, Elgton Jenkins at center, Sean Rhyan at right guard and Darian Kinnard at right tackle.

Offensive line reserves for the game would likely include Donovan Jennings and Brant Banks, who was signed to the Packers 53-man roster this week.

“It’s something I’ve dreamt about for a long time, so it happening is amazing,” Banks told Fox 11 on Thursday. “I’ve had a lot of snaps at all four spots besides center. I think after a day or two back in a spot, I feel comfortable again. Right now I’m taking snaps wherever needed.”

On the defensive side, Packers defensive back Javon Bullard is questionable to play Sunday.

Bullard sustained a concussion in the fourth quarter of the Packers game against the Browns when he collided helmets with linebacker Quay Walker.

As of Friday, Bullard still had not been cleared from concussion protocol.
