The Kansas City Chiefs are healing.
Kansas City has been in desperate need of some help on offense and it might be getting it as early as Sunday in Week 4. Xavier Worthy returned to practice as a full participant, which could bode well for his availability against the Baltimore Ravens.
Worthy was knocked out with a dislocated shoulder on the third offensive snap of the season after colliding with Travis Kelce in Brazil.
While Tyquan Thornton has filled in admirably for the speedy receiver, it would represent a significant boost to a team that has struggled during Worthy’s absence.
Here’s the latest on Worthy.
Xavier Worthy injury update
Worthy was listed as a full participant at practice on Wednesday.
It’s good news for the receiver and, provided he doesn’t suffer any setbacks, Worthy should be on track to return to game action on Sunday against the Ravens.
He has been sidelined with a dislocated shoulder since the third offensive snap of the regular season for Kansas City.
