The Green Bay Packers made some roster moves on Tuesday. According to the team’s general manager, Brian Gutekunst, the Packers have released wide receiver Mecole Hardman from the practice squad.

The Packers also signed offensive tackle Brant Banks to the active roster from the practice squad and added wide receiver Jakobie Keeney-James to the practice squad.

Hardman, a three-time Super Bowl champion with the Kansas City Chiefs, joined the Packers in March after signing a one-year deal. In August, the Packers released him but re-signed him to the practice squad just one day later.

The former second-round pick of the Chiefs in 2019 had a varied NFL career, including stints with the New York Jets and a return to Kansas City.

In the 2024 season with Kansas City, Hardman appeared in 12 games, recording 12 receptions for 90 yards and serving as a return specialist with 25 punt and kickoff returns for 335 yards.
