This is exactly why Kansas City will need a strong performance from its cornerstone quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, in its Week 3 clash against the Giants. The three-time Super Bowl-winning QB arrived at MetLife Stadium a couple of hours before the game, and Mahomes made quite an impression as he headed to the locker room.
The Chiefs just had to react to Mahomes’ arrival as they revealed the 30-year-old’s perfect nickname ahead of the Giants showdown.

Mahomes’ flashy, metallic-patterned outfit certainly shone bright under the spotlight. An eye-catching fashion statement of this caliber requires boldness, and the six-time Pro Bowl quarterback definitely isn’t shying away from the limelight here.
Apart from the attention-grabbing ensemble, the Chiefs’ nickname for Mahomes fits perfectly, given the magnitude of the occasion. Kansas City will be battling the Giants in a nationally-televised game with a primetime slot. It’s a big matchup for the Chiefs, and as he has done many times in the past, Mahomes is fully intent on stepping up to the plate when the lights are the brightest.
It hasn’t been a blistering start for Mahomes in his ninth year with the Chiefs. In two games played, the three-time Super Bowl MVP has completed 40 of 68 passes for 445 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. He has an opportunity to come out with a statement performance against the Giants, and it appears that “Primetime Patrick” plans on doing just that on Sunday night.
