The Green Bay Packers have been hit with some disappointing updates of late, particularly the injuries to wide receiver Jayden Reed and tight end Tucker Kraft, but there remains plenty of reason to feel excited about the team. For one, Green Bay is undefeated, with two wins under its belt. Also, their defense continues to show immense potential amid the addition of superstar defensive end Micah Parsons to the team’s stop unit.
They have humbled the attacks of 2024 season playoff teams, Detroit Lions and Washington Commanders, in the first two weeks, and that’s despite Parsons not being at 100 percent due to a back issue.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter has scary Micah Parsons outlook for Browns, Cowboys

But for this coming Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns, Parsons is about to get “unleashed” if you ask ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter.
“I think here comes Micah Parsons, the full dose of Micah Parsons,” Schefter said after learning that the four-time Pro Bowl pass rusher is no longer on Green Bay’s injury report for the first time.
Even if Parsons is still not at his top form, Schefter expects big things from the former Penn State Nittany Lions star — or at the very least, more snaps than he had in the previous two outings. Parsons only saw 30 snaps (45%) in Week 1 and 47 (68%) in Week 2.
“And if it’s not full, it’s 75, 80% ahead of next week’s Sunday night matchup against the Dallas Cowboys,” continued Schefter, who is already feeling the drama for Week 4’s game between Green Bay and Parsons’ former team. But lo and behold, it took about two weeks for Micah Parsons to get past that back injury to get off that injury report and to be essentially cleared for full go on Sunday against the Cleveland Browns.”
Schefter even doubled down on the hype about the looming Parsons revenge game versus Jerry Jones’ Cowboys.
“But Micah Parsons is off the injury report. And that means he’s probably going off on Sunday and going off next week against the Dallas Cowboys. How much are we gonna talk about that game next week when Micah Parsons is headed to Dallas? We’re already doing it a week and a half out, right? Yeah, but here it comes. That’s gonna be a juicy pot.”
If Schefter is that hyped, just imagine what the fans are already feeling about Parsons coming off the injury report. Here are some of the comments from them online:
“Oh, he’ll be fully unleashed against the Cowboys! 🍿”
“That’s a scary thought”
“Micah Parsons nearly unleashed. 🎯”
“Parsons about to wreak havoc 🔥💪 Whether it’s Cleveland or Dallas, defenses better watch out! 🏈⚡”
“Unleash the beast! 🏈🔥”
“Im predicting 4 sacks for him against Dallas.
Through two games with the Packers, Parsons has 1.5 sacks to go with three tackles and four quarterback hits.
