Dallas Cowboys Announce CeeDee Lamb News After Win Against Giants

Is CeeDee Lamb Playing Today? (Injury Update, Betting Impact for Giants vs. Cowboys)

The Dallas Cowboys got off the mark on Sunday with a thrilling 40-37 overtime victory against the New York Giants. It was a nice win for the Cowboys in their first home game of the season, and an excellent way to erase their Week 1 loss to the defending champs, the Philadelphia Eagles.

Dak Prescott came through for the Cowboys, completing 38 of 52 passes for 361 yards and two touchdowns. The three-time Pro Bowl quarterback had one interception, but was also able to add 17 rushing yards on three carries.

The win was also thanks in large part to CeeDee Lamb, who registered a team-high 122 receiving yards on nine catches. It wasn’t exactly a mind-blowing performance from the All-Pro wide receiver, but it was enough to make its mark in the history books.

“Dating back to last season, CeeDee Lamb ( @_CeeDeeThree ) has recorded at least 100 receiving yards in four consecutive games, the longest active streak in the NFL,” announced the Dallas Cowboys Public Relations on X.

The post also stated that Lamb is just one of two players to record multiple four-game streaks of 100-plus receiving yards in the last decade.

This says a lot not only about Lamb’s performance against the Giants but also his consistency for the Cowboys through the years. There are going to be a lot of moving parts for Dallas this season, but there’s no denying that they will need Lamb to be at his best if they want to challenge for the title this year.

Up next for the Cowboys is a road game against the Chicago Bears in Week 3, as Dallas looks to improve on its 1-1 record.
