The Cincinnati Bengals (4-6) are looking to bounce back in Week 11 after a really tough loss to the Baltimore Ravens (7-3) on Thursday Night Football, but it won’t be easy considering how the Los Angeles Chargers (6-3) are finding a groove.
Fortunately, the Bengals will have star pass rusher Trey Hendrickson after he was listed as questionable on Friday’s final injury report. He’s dealing with both a neck injury and a personal matter. Per The Athletic’s Paul Dehner Jr., Hendrickson didn’t travel with the team, but the plan was to meet them in L.A. on Saturday and then play on Sunday.
That has come to fruition, however, it remains to be seen how much he plays due to the injury. Either way, there have been no setbacks for the NFL’s leader in sacks.
The other big injury the Bengals are monitoring is that of Orlando Brown Jr., who is dealing with a knee/fibula issue that caused him to miss both Wednesday’s and Friday’s practice sessions. It’s the same injury that prevented him from playing in Week 9 against the Las Vegas Raiders and Week 10 against the Baltimore Ravens.
Per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Brown Jr. is not expected to play against the Chargers. Former second-round pick, Cody Ford, started in his stead against the Ravens and will do so against the Chargers.

That’s obviously not ideal as the Bengals prepare to take on a Chargers team that is tied for fourth in total sacks with 31. The pass rush is still headlined by Khalil Mack and Joey Bosa, but it’s Tuli Tuipulotu leading a collective effort with 5.5 sacks. In total, 11 players have recorded at least one sack on the year, while 14 have collected at least a half-sack.
Burrow was sacked three times against the Ravens and once against the Raiders. We’ll see if his offensive line is able to keep him upright when the game kicks off at 8:20p.m. ET.
