The Detroit Lions are rolling into Lambeau Field in style. On Saturday, the team revealed their uniform combo for Sunday’s highly anticipated Week 1 clash against the Green Bay Packers: the all-white look.

That means the Lions will take the field in white jerseys, white pants, and white socks, paired with their signature blue-and-silver helmets. It’s a clean, sharp look that has become a fan favorite in recent years, especially in primetime and rivalry matchups.
The uniform reveal only adds to the buzz surrounding Sunday’s showdown, as Detroit kicks off its 2025 season looking to defend its NFC North crown. The choice of the icy all-whites feels fitting for a high-stakes game against the Packers.

One thing’s for sure: the Lions will look every bit the part as they aim to start their season off with a statement win against their oldest rival.
Micah Parsons to play limited snaps vs. Lions
Green Bay Packers edge rusher Micah Parsons is expected to play on Sunday, Sept. 7, against the Detroit Lions, but he will not play “a full complement of plays.” (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
#Packers DL Micah Parsons is expected to play Sunday against the #Lions, sources say, but don’t expect a full complement of plays.
Without much of a training camp, and with a long-term goal, expect caution for how GB treats Parsons. From here: https://t.co/nfQ2gq7hm7 pic.twitter.com/PpoN7I44Gj

Fantasy Impact:
Parsons is one of the best pass-rushers in the NFL, and with his offseason back injury, the Packers will not want to push him to his limit in Week 1, even in a crucial divisional matchup with Detroit. He should provide an immediate boost to Green Bay’s defense (D/ST) in terms of pass-rushing upside (52.5 sacks in four seasons), even on limited snaps, but he may not be a Week 1 option in IDP leagues.
