Week 1 is finally upon us and the Las Vegas Raiders and New England Patriots have dropped their last injury report of the week before the showdown at Gillette Stadium on Sunday.

The Raiders enter the contest with a clean bill of health. Cornerback Kyu Blu Kelly and quarterback Kenny Pickett were both listed with hamstring issues to start the week, but both logged three full practices and were removed on Friday.

Kelly figures to get the start for the Raiders at cornerback, as he’s listed in a starting spot on Las Vegas’ depth chart. However, head coach Pete Carroll said the team will rotate players on the boundary, so we should see at least rookie Darien Porter and possibly second-year cornerback Decamerion Richardson, also.

“We’ve got really good competition over there on the other side and we’ll see how that works out by the end of the week, we’ll keep it going,” Carroll said. “A number of guys will play in the game (against the Patriots). You’ll see a lot of guys will be rolling through there.”

The Patriots weren’t so lucky. Starting cornerback Christian Gonzalez has been ruled out with a hamstring injury and didn’t practice at all during the week. Gonzalez suffered the injury in practice in July and hasn’t taken part since.

Head coach Mike Vrabel revealed that the Patriots could turn to former Buffalo Bills seventh-round pick Alex Austin to start against the Raiders.

There are two Patriots questionable in rookie tackle Will Campbell and cornerback Charles Woods. Campbell, who popped up on the injury report on Thursday and was limited to close out the week, was the Pats’ first-round pick in 2025 and will start at left tackle if he’s healthy enough to play.

If he can’t go, New England could deploy one of rookie Marcus Bryant or veteran Vederian Lowe.

Now, a look at the full list of injury designations for both teams going into Sunday.
