Will CeeDee Lamb Play vs the Texans? Latest Injury Update on Cowboys WR’s Availability Ahead of MNF

CeeDee Lamb is getting into trouble one after another. After the week 10 game against the Eagles, he failed to catch a touchdown pass because of the sunshine. Now, while preparing for the week 11 matchup against the Houston Texans, he has injured himself. Here’s the update about what’s going on with the Cowboys receiver.

During the last practice session ahead of the week 11 MNF game against the Texans, he injured his back during the 7-on-7 drills. He was already a limited participant in the practice, and after this, he has been listed as questionable for the week 11 matchup. While the fans were worried, the Cowboys HC Mike McCarthy has given some relief.

It was a surprise in the injury report when his name was added to the injury reserve list. However, the HC said, “I’m not of high concern.” It shows he is confident of the receiver playing against the Texans. That’s great.

The team has to play with CeeDee Lamb if they want to keep their chances strong. With 59 receptions in 681 receiving yards and 4 touchdowns in 9 games, he has been their best receiver. In the last 3 years, the coach has said such injury status for 6 players, and all those players played. So, there are more chances of him playing than not playing. But the problems are there.

The team is struggling with their quarterback position already, as

Dak Prescott is out of the season with a hamstring injury. Now, the situation has turned worse.

Jerry Jones has yet to reveal his view on Lamb’s injury

While McCarthy has given the required update to the fans, there’s one person everyone wants to hear from. It’s none other than the owner Jerry Jones. He has been silent and hasn’t even released any statement.

There has been a drama going on between CeeDee Lamb and Jones over the curtains at the AT&T Stadium. That’s where the week 11 matchup would also take place. Will the curtains be open in that? Everyone is curious to watch it against the Texans.

Against the Eagles, he lost a touchdown chance because of sunshine. No one would want him to repeat this same mistake. But they would have to be very careful.

With 3 wins and 6 losses and in the 3rd position in the NFC East, it’s a tough road ahead. Can they end the drought of almost 3 decades? Chances are slim, but anything can happen. Stay tuned for more such stories about your favorite players and teams.
