Green Bay Packers the Most Bet Team to Win Super Bowl LX after the Micah Parsons Trade  - The Playoffs

A long contract saga between the Dallas Cowboys and pass rusher Micah Parsons played out over the course of the entire offseason, and eventually came to an end only after a trade to the Green Bay Packers.

The move from owner Jerry Jones and the Cowboys stunned many and still forces a shake of the head whenever the thought pops into the mind. For the vast majority of Cowboys’ fans, closure will only come once Parsons takes the field for the green and gold on Sunday against the Detroit Lions.

But what’s done is done, and now it is time for ‘Cheeseheads’ across the world to rejoice as they entertain thoughts of reaching yet another Super Bowl.

Most Bet Team to Win Super Bowl LX

With the new NFL season all but ready to start on Thursday, predictions and bets are the talk of the town. In the world of sports betting and in the NFL in particular, there are innumerable things to place bets on, but of course, one of the most interesting things to bet on is the Super Bowl winner at the end of the season.

As per ESPN BET, the Green Bay Packers have now become the most bet team to lift the Lombardi Trophy at the end of the 2025-26 NFL season. According to the data published by ESPN BET, the Packers have garnered 22.1% of the bets since August 28, which is when Parsons’ trade went through.

The Buffalo Bills are the next best bet team since August 28, but they have received only 13.6% of bets, which just goes to show the type of effect this trade has had. Snagging the 26-year-old at the peak of his game was definitely a masterstroke by Green Bay, but are the Packers truly Super Bowl contenders this season?

Does Green Bay Have a Shot at Glory This Season?

The Packers finished third in the NFC North despite a strong 11-6 record and managed to get into the playoffs, where they lost in the Wild Card round to the eventual champions, the Philadelphia Eagles.

Green Bay has always been a strong contender to make the postseason, but making it back to the big game has been a challenge. That said, they have a steady, young quarterback in Jordan Love who has two full seasons under his belt as a starter, a knowledgeable head coach in Matt LaFleur, a healthy core of wide receivers with plenty of expectations from rookie Matthew Golden, and a defense that created plenty of turnovers last season.

The addition of Parsons to the defensive line could just be the cherry on the cake if they can get to another Super Bowl. The Packers are one of the younger teams in the league, and by adding Parsons, they have not only added a player in his prime but also a leader in the dressing room.
