The famous couple got engaged on Tuesday, August 26, and told the world via an Instagram post. What’s wild is that they did it the same day that the Kansas City Chiefs announced their 53-man roster.
Regardless of timing, both Kelce and Swift have a lot of friends, so they should have a lot of fun putting together their wedding party. Over the years, both Kelce and Swift have developed deep relationships, and they’ll want their closest friends and family to be with them on their special day. It’s certainly going to be the wedding of the year.
So, who will be in Swift and Kelce’s wedding party? Getting an invitation to be in that wedding is like getting picked for homecoming court in high school. Everyone want to get in on this rock star couple.
The Wedding Party for Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift May Include Big Names
Fox News has an entire feature up, published on Saturday, August 30, predicting who will be in Swift and Kelce’s wedding party, and it’s packed with familiar names. It’s a mix of entertainers and athletes, which should come as no surprise.
The most likely female to be in Taylor Swift’s wedding party, according to Fox News, is Selena Gomez. The two first became friends when they were each in relationships with members of the Jonas Brothers in 2008.
“They became fast friends and, over the years, have supported each other’s careers. Gomez has appeared on stage with Swift during her tours, including ‘Speak Now World Tour’ and ‘The Reputation Stadium Tour,’” notes Fox News. “Swift and Gomez have also worked together, with Gomez appearing in the ‘Bad Blood’ music video and Swift on Gomez’s cooking show. Gomez is also in her bridal era following a December 2024 engagement to music producer Benny Blanco.”
Another safe bet is Swift’s childhood friend Abigail. “Swift and her childhood friend Abigail remain extremely close,” Fox News notes. “The singer-songwriter wrote ‘Fifteen’ about Abigail for her album ‘Fearless’ and the girls have maintained their friendship into adulthood.”
Other possible ladies in Swift’s wedding party include Gigi Hadid, Sabrina Carpenter, and Zoë Kravitz.
Travis Kelce’s Possible Wedding Party
For Kelce, a sure choice is his brother, Jason Kelce. It would be difficult to imagine Jason not being best man.
Another likely one is Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs. “Kelce was a groomsman to the NFL star when he married wife Brittany Mahomes in 2022,” Fox notes. “Now it might be Mahomes’ turn as Kelce marries Swift.”
Other possible picks for Kelce include Kumar Feguson, Aric Jones and Ross Travis, according to Fox.
Aside from those picks, this reporter personally thinks Swift could include Brittany Mahomes in the wedding party. If Patrick is in there, and if Swift and Brittany have become as close as it seems, it seems like she would be a good fit for the party.
