BREAKING : Eagles star offensive lineman says he doesn’t know how to stop Myles Garrett

Eagles star offensive lineman says he doesn't know how to stop Myles Garrett image

Myles Garrett has been one of the few bright spots in recent Cleveland Browns history. The Browns are coming off their worst season since going 0-16 in 2017, only winning three games in 2024. That said, Garrett continues to be one of the most disruptive players in the league.

The Browns held joint practices with the Philadelphia Eagles ahead of their Week 2 preseason game against one another, and Garrett reportedly consistently got to Jalen Hurts, which led to left tackle Jordan Mailata being asked how to stop the former Defensive Player of the Year.

“I can’t answer that,” Mailata said. “Not because I don’t want to. I just don’t really know the answer… there’s no one like Myles. You can’t apply what Myles does to anyone else. he’s just a freak.”

When the left tackle of one of the top units in the NFL is saying, “Hey, I don’t know how to stop that guy,” that’s incredibly high praise, and just another example of how special Myles Garrett is.
