Matt LaFleur makes harsh admission after Jordan Love's injury

The Green Bay Packers face a key situation in the preseason as their star quarterback, Jordan Love, undergoes surgery to recover from a minor hand injury. Using this situation as a reference, head coach Matt LaFleur made his stance clear regarding the team’s injury issues.

The Packers added two more wide receivers to their injury list after Tuesday’s practice, continuing a concerning trend in Wisconsin. In addition to not having Love at full strength, Green Bay is adding risk to its roster ahead of the crucial days to come.

In this context, LaFleur expressed concern about the injuries that have affected both the offense and defense of his first team during this summer’s training camp. Just days before the start of the NFL season, it is essential to know the recovery timelines.

Does LaFleur feel good about the Packers’ health situation?

“No, I don’t,” LaFleur responded. “Right now, I don’t. We’re missing a lot of key players that are integral to our success as a football team. It is what it is. It’s an opportunity for some other guys, but we definitely had some injuries strike up at some positions where it’s made us pretty thin,” he added, according to The Athletic’s Matt Schneidman.
