4 Chiefs miss Wednesday's final training camp practice - Yahoo Sports

The Kansas City Chiefs conducted their final public practice of training camp on Wednesday, which place during the team’s annual “Military Appreciation Day” at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph. It was the 17th public training camp practice.

The team finished its camp schedule with a lighter 10-10-10 session, featuring 10 plays on offense followed by 10 plays on defense and a 10-minute special teams period. In this kind of practice, the first-team offense plays against the second-team defense — and vice-versa.

After missing time in the NFL’s concussion protocol, cornerback Jaylen Watson was back on the field with his teammates.

Four players were held out. Tight end Jake Briningstool (hamstring) finished camp with 13 missed days. Wide receiver Hollywood Brown (ankle) ended up with nine. As he recovers from surgery, tackle Ethan Driskell (appendectomy) missed his third day. Running back Kareem Hunt missed his first session with a quad contusion.

No additional injuries were observed during Wednesday’s practice.
