🚨 NFL Shock Update: Andy Reid Sounds Alarm 🚨 — Is the Chiefs’ Offense in Trouble After Preseason Loss to Cardinals? 🏈

NFL News: Andy Reid is concerned about Chiefs offense after loss against Cardinals in preseason

Andy Reid and the Kansas City Chiefs started their preseason with a 20-17 loss against the Arizona Cardinals. There is one particular aspect that worries the head coach ahead of the opener facing the Chargers in Brazil.

“We were too sloppy. Too many penalties, going backwards when you shouldn’t be offensively. We’ve got to take care of that. 10 penalties for 108 yards. That’s a good rushing day for a team. So, you can’t give that up with penalties.”

Patrick Mahomes and some of the starters were active in the first offensive series, but then they received the expected rest after scoring a touchdown. The Chiefs will face the Seattle Seahawks and the Chicago Bears to close out their preseason before the highly anticipated trip to Sao Paulo to kickoff the regular season.

Andy Reid praises Chiefs’ offensive line

Despite the loss and the penalties, Andy Reid highlighted two things from the game against the Cardinals: a good performance by the starters and, especially, the work of the offensive line.

“There were some good things even though it didn’t come off that way, but, the 1’s I thought played well when they were in. They were sharp. I thought the young offensive line was a positive. The guys that worked in there with the 1’s. I thought they did a nice job for the time they were in. The couple of series they had.”
