BREAKING: Final Packers injury report for Week 11 provides brutal Jordan Morgan update

Green Bay Packers offensive lineman Jordan Morgan

The Green Bay Packers provided important updates on rookies Jordan Morgan and MarShawn Lloyd with their final Week 11 injury report, ruling out both players for Sunday’s divisional matchup against the Chicago Bears.

Head coach Matt LaFleur confirmed that Morgan is dealing with the same recurring shoulder issue from earlier in the season. Lloyd has appendicitis, which is a brutal setback after the awful injury luck he has dealt with. The rookie running back was already on the injury report due to ankle and hamstring issues.

It’s unclear how much time either player will miss, although we can assume Lloyd will need at least a few weeks of recovery.

The Packers could get cornerback Jaire Alexander and safety Evan Williams back for this game, but they remain questionable due to knee and hamstring injuries, respectively. They have practiced in a limited capacity all week, but their status remains uncertain.

Here is the Packers’ final injury report for Week 11:

The good news is that starting center Josh Myers (wrist) is good to go, and there are no concerns over Rasheed Walker’s knee issue after he was added to the injury report on Thursday. As expected, running back Josh Jacobs (quadricep) is also good to go.

Myers missed the Week 9 loss to the Detroit Lions, causing a reshuffle of the starting offensive line. Had he missed another game, the Packers would’ve required even more reshuffling due to Morgan being ruled out. Fortunately, Myers is good to go.

However, the Packers can’t afford Alexander or Williams to miss much time. They are crucial to Jeff Hafley’s defense. It’s promising that both players have a shot to play, but they have yet to practice in full and remain questionable.

Defensive tackle Colby Wooden likely won’t play. He is doubtful after not practicing all week.

The Bears have ruled out starting guard Teven Jenkins and backup offensive lineman Kiran Amegadjie. Former Packers safety Tarvarius Moore and star edge-rusher Montez Sweat are questionable for the game, but they practiced in full on Friday and likely have a good chance of playing.

The Packers got healthier after the bye week, but by how much? Jordan Love is back to full strength after taking all of the practice reps this week, but with uncertainty over whether Alexander and Williams will play, the team still faces injury concerns in Week 11.
