Browns training camp schedule: Shedeur Sanders, Kenny Pickett injury watch and last fan access practice

Browns training camp schedule: Shedeur Sanders, Kenny Pickett injury watch, 1st preseason game - Dawgs By Nature

The Cleveland Browns return to the field in Berea for Week 3 of training camp with a lot of questions, starting with QBs Kenny Pickett and Shedeur Sanders after injuries have sidelined both. Pickett was injured at the end of Week 1 of Browns training camp, but returned to practice Saturday on a very limited basis.

Sanders, due to a sore shoulder, joined Pickett on the injury list and left Joe Flacco, currently the top quarterback in the competition, and Dillon Gabriel to throw passes before Sunday’s day off.

Week 3 brings the start of preseason action for most teams (besides the two who played in the Hall of Fame Game on Thursday), including Cleveland’s opener against the Carolina Panthers. Monday also brings with it the last fan access practice of this year’s Browns training camp, leaving a full month of practices without fans, including joint practices.

This week’s schedule looks like this:

Monday, August 4 – With Fans

11:20 a.m. – Offensive coordinator Tommy Rees, defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz, assistant head coach/special teams coordinator Bubba Ventrone and select players available

1:30 p.m. – Kevin Stefanski available

2:00 p.m. – Practice

Tuesday, August 5

Travel to Carolina

Wednesday, August 6

TBD – Joint practice at Carolina Panthers

TBD – Kevin Stefanski and select players available

Thursday, August 7

No scheduled availability

Friday, August 8

7:00 p.m. – Cleveland Browns at Carolina Panthers

Saturday, August 9

Sunday, August 10

We should get an update on both injured quarterbacks on Monday before Wednesday’s practice in Carolina. As always (except during a brief window during our migration Monday night into Tuesday morning), we will have updates for you on any and all reports on both Pickett and Sanders.
