Bengals' first training camp scuffle broken up in a funny way

Training camp scuffles are inevitable across the NFL and the Cincinnati Bengals got their first out of the way early.

According to Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com, the first notable fight between Bengals players wasn’t much of a fight at all and was actually broken up by a bit of humor.

The scuffle went down between offensive lineman Jaxon Kirkland and rookie defensive lineman Howard Cross III.

Per the writeup, cornerback Marco Wilson broke up the exchange by…hitting a karate pose that got cheers from other teammates.

So there’s that. By all accounts, this has been a much more physical early training camp than usual for the Bengals. The next one might not get broken up by a funny moment, but it’s good to hear the rumblings about intensity and urgency.
