With the NFL season on the horizon, the Kansas City Chiefs are looking for redemption after a disappointing end to last year’s campaign in Super Bowl LIX against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Chasing a third straight Lombardi Trophy, the Chiefs were soundly defeated 40-22 in a game where they were outplayed from start to finish.

Now, with mandatory minicamp behind them and training camp set to begin on July 22, the Chiefs have started rolling out social media posts featuring their returning stars across various positions. On Sunday, the quarterback room drew attention as the team shared photos of superstar Patrick Mahomes and new backup Gardner Minshew.

“Quarterbacks clockin’ in,” the post read, showing Mahomes and Minshew holding 2025 roll call boards.

The board featured a variety of fun prompts, including what NFL season they’re entering, their nickname, what they missed most, their goal for the 2025 season, and who they enjoy spending time with.

As expected, Patrick Mahomes kept things consistent and on-brand. He’s entering his ninth NFL season, listed his nickname as “Showtime,” and said he missed playing at Arrowhead Stadium.

When asked who he enjoys spending time with, he named his family and three children. His goal for the 2025 season? The same as it’s been for much of his career — to win the Super Bowl, something he’s already accomplished three times.
