Patrick Mahomes wasted no time in the first session of the Kansas City Chiefs’ mandatory minicamp on Tuesday. The three-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback connected with some of his targets for the upcoming season during the 11-on-11 session, which included running back Isiah Pacheco and wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster.

Mahomes also impressed in the red-zone drills, hitting tight end Travis Kelce and running back Brashard Smith for multiple touchdowns.
It was a productive first day of minicamp for Mahomes and the rest of the squad, and they will be looking to take that momentum for the remainder of their preseason preparations.
As always, said preparations also include new photos for the upcoming campaign. The Chiefs took to social media on Tuesday to share a couple of new solo pictures of Mahomes.
“A new headshot for QB1,” the team posted on Instagram.

The new photos drew all sorts of reactions from Chiefs fans.
“I see 5,000 yards,” a comment on Instagram read.
“My glorious QB is aging backwards,” said another.
“Mahomes means business this season 😤😤😤😤” a user wrote.
“MVP season incoming,” declared a fan.
“Best QB in the league,” another said.
“My glorious king,” a reaction read.
It seems like these will be the official headshots Mahomes will be using for the new season. The six-time Pro Bowler will be entering Year 9 of what has been an incredible career with the Chiefs thus far.
Last season, however, did not go according to plan for Mahomes and Co. They made it all the way to the championship game, but ultimately fell short of what would have been an unprecedented Super Bowl three-peat after suffering a heartbreaking 40-22 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
Mahomes will be looking to make amends this year, and it looks like he’s ready to put the work in behind the scenes to achieve his goals.
