The two-time MVP, two-time All-Pro and three-time Super Bowl champion has been the epitome of success in terms of the quarterback position.

Despite all of the accolades and the fact that Mahomes has led the Chiefs to five AFC titles in eight seasons, Kansas City is looking for vengeance.

The Chiefs suffered a loss in the Super Bowl last season after defeating the Houston Texans and the Buffalo Bills in the postseason.

As Mahomes and his team get back to work, training through OTAs and minicamp, all eyes are on the progress of the quarterback and the rest of the roster.

On Saturday, the Kansas City Chiefs’ official social media account posted several photos from the weight room with Mahomes and his teammates.

Mahomes then took to social media, reposting a photo of himself chest-pressing 70-pound kettlebells.

“We’ve been in the lab,” posted the official social media account of the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Kansas City Chiefs have their eyes set on the Los Angeles Chargers, whom they will be facing in Week 1 of the next NFL season.

After that matchup, Patrick Mahomes will lead the Chiefs into a matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles, whom they lost to in the most recent Super Bowl.
