Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs and Taylor Swift have often been spotted at the same sporting events, because Swift has made it a point to attend pretty much all of Kelce’s home games since the started dating. The couple began their love story in the summer of 2023 and went public on Sept. 24, 2023, when Swift attended her first Kansas City Chiefs game.

Who can forget what a splash she made at that first game? Well, now, the two are together at a sporting event again, but this time, it’s the National Hockey League’s Stanley Cup Finals.

As with Swift’s Chiefs game appearances, all were are on her at the NHL finals, too. The two made a grand entrance before the event, which sees the Florida Panthers against the Edmonton Oilers.


Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift Get Attention

Kelce and Swift were a few of the big names spotted at Amerant Bank Arena on Thursday, June 12, to catch Game 4 of the Finals.

Sportsnet sent a post out on X about the sighting along with a photo of the two, stating, “Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce knew all too well they couldn’t miss Game 4 in Sunrise.”

Some of the other sports figures at the event included Miami Dolphins defensive end Jason Taylor, Miami Heat captain Bam Adebayo and former Miami Heat captain Udonis Haslem. NHL legend Wayne Gretzky was there, too, and sat with Swift and Kelce for a while.

The NHL has to be on cloud nine about Swift and Kelce attending, since it gives them a lot of press. The NHL’s official X account posted about the appearance, stating, “Take me to Florida” with a bunch of exclamation marks and a star-faced emoji, adding that the two were taking in Game 4.


What Sporting Event is Next for Swift and Kelce?

So, now one has to ask the big question: Will Kelce and Swift attend the NBA Finals? It’s only fair, right? Well, Kelce is a big fan of the Cleveland Cavaliers, who are not in the finals, so that doesn’t help. He grew up in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, and makes no secret how how much he adores the team.

But, Kelce is a big basketball fan. Kelce even said on the April 18 episode of the “New Heights” podcast that he would love to swap lives with LeBron James on day and started talking about his love for the NBA.

“My answer is LeBron James, because I want to play in the NBA,” Kelce said when asked who he would like to swap lives with. “I’ve always wanted to play in the NBA.”

He added that he has wanted to play in the NBA since he was a child, stating, “It was a dream I’ve had since I was a kid, and I would love to know what that dream actually feels like.

Meanwhile, Swift is still basking in the glow of getting her masters back on May 31.

“To say this is my biggest dream come true is actually being pretty reserved about it,” Swift stated on her website. “To my fans, you know how important this has been to me—so much so that I meticulously re-recorded and released 4 of my albums, calling them Taylor’s version.”

She added, “The passionate support you should those albums and the success story you turned The Eras Tour into is why I was able to buy back my music.”
