BREAKING NEWS : Kansas City Chiefs’ Travis Kelce ranks as PFF’s seventh tight end going into 2025

Chiefs' Travis Kelce ranks as PFF's seventh tight end for 2025

Pro Football Focus recently ranked Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce as the NFL’s No. 7 starting tight end, continuing to show that, regardless of age, he is amongst the league’s elite going into next season.

“While Kelce has been the second-most-valuable tight end over the past two seasons, per PFF WAR, 2024 represented the lowest-graded season of his career (71.7).” wrote John Kosko, “Age looks to be catching up to the future Hall of Famer, as his 91.4 PFF overall grade from 2022 appears to be a thing of the past.”

The 35-year-old ten-time Pro Bowler posted 823 yards with three touchdowns on 97 receptions in 2024. The finish to last month’s Super Bowl put his future temporarily in doubt, but he’s now using it as motivation for next season.San Francisco 49ers star George Kittle took the top spot on the list, with Brock Bowers and Trey McBride rounding out the top three. Kelce is the oldest player on the list, but it’s a testament to his durability that he’s still considered one of the best at his position.
