BREAKING NEWS : Tee Higgins thinks Bengals offense could be deadly in 2025

Syndication: The Enquirer

I was recently rewatching the Cincinnati Bengals’ second game against the Browns last season, and I was struck by something NFL on CBS color analyst Adam Archuleta said on the TV broadcast.

He said that Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins are a modern-day Peyton Manning, Marvin Harrison, and Reggie Wayne. The reason it struck me is because I have believed that for a long time.

Burrow has two incredible wide receivers to throw to in Chase and Higgins, just like Manning had with Harrison and Wayne.

If Tee Higgins plays all 17 games this regular season like Burrow and Chase did in 2024, the possible numbers this Bengals offense could put up are through the roof.

“I plan on staying healthy,” Higgins said following a recent practice via Cincinnati Bengals Talk, “Let’s not say ‘if.’ I plan on it. When I do, definitely could be deadly.”

The Bengals offense was high-flying in 2024, ranking sixth in scoring (27.8 pts), ninth in yards (365.5), and leading the NFL in passing yards (272.9) per game.

Higgins missed five games last season, but he still had 10 touchdowns and 911 yards on 73 catches in 2024.

The Bengals sixth-year wide receiver needs 405 more yards to reach 5,000 in his career. Higgins also has 330 receptions and 34 touchdowns.
