BREAKING NEWS : Tommy Rees on Shedeur Sanders’ adjustment to Cleveland’s pro-style offense

Browns OTAs: Rees on Shedeur Sanders adjusting to a pro-style offense - Dawgs By Nature

The Cleveland Browns began the second week of OTAs yesterday, and Tommy Rees was asked about Shedeur Sanders and his progress during yesterday’s media session following the conclusion of practice.

Sanders has been looking great in 7-on-7 drills and the team portions of practice since arriving in Berea, but something that hasn’t been discussed as much is how he’s adapting to the professional level from a mental standpoint.

A question was asked about Sanders’ comfort level and transition to operating out of the huddle, something he didn’t do much at the collegiate level.

As Rees confirms here, Sanders has been doing everything he can to make the transition as smooth as possible, and it’s showing.

There hasn’t been any sign that he’s having trouble with certain aspects of the position when it comes to his drops, timing, or mechanical adjustments.
