The Cincinnati Bengals are 3-4 and sitting behind the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC North. However, they have won two games in a row and are looking to keep the streak alive as they take on the 4-2 Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday afternoon.
However, it appears that the Bengals will be without the services of their second-best wide receiver, Tee Higgins.
The Cincinnati Bengals Are Pessimistic that Tee Higgins Will Play
According to reports late on Saturday night, Higgins injured his quad in practice on Friday. While he is listed as questionable on the team’s injury report, the Bengals are pessimistic that he will be able to play against the Eagles:
Per sources, there’s a real chance Bengals WR Tee Higgins, who injured his quad in Friday’s practice, has to miss Sunday’s game against the Eagles. The Bengals are planning to go right up until game time before deciding, but there’s pessimism about his chances to play.

The fifth-year wide receiver has 29 receptions for 341 yards and three touchdowns so far this year. In his last two games, both Cincinnati victories, Higgins has 11 receptions for 159 yards and a touchdown.
Cincinnati Bengals Fans Are Fed Up with “Mr. Glass” Tee Higgins
Higgins missed the first two games of the 2024 NFL regular season due to a different injury. He also missed four games last season due to various ailments. Dating back to last year, the Bengals are just 1-5 in games that Higgins has missed.
Because of this, fans were fairly upset on social media when the news broke that he is likely going to miss the game against the Eagles:

Tee: “I want $25 mil per year and 85% guaranteed”
Also tee: hurts his hammy and quad and only plays like 10 games per year.
The best ability is availability. https://t.co/j66Pm2Zi8c

We are either practicing stupidly on Friday's or hurting a quad in a walkthrough is flat out the most embarrassing nfl injury. https://t.co/dGO44QPBEw

If Higgins is unable to play, it will certainly affect the Bengals’ offense, which has struggled to put up points even when he is healthy over the last two weeks. They scored 17 and 24 points respectively in wins over the New York Giants and Cleveland Browns, two teams with a combined three wins between them.
