“I don’t think it was my best outing. I let my guys down in a lot more moments than I helped them, especially if you look at my track record and how I’ve been in years past. I want to give it a good run,” he said at the time. “I’ve got a bad taste in my mouth on how I ended the year and how well I was playing and how accountable I was for the people around me. I love so many people in Kansas City, both in that facility and in the community.”

While he recorded a career low in receiving yards during the 2024 season, Kelce managed to haul in 97 receptions to lead the team. He became just the 15th player in NFL history with at least 1,000 receptions and currently ranks third among tight ends in career receptions.

As he prepares for the 2025 season, Kelce previously announced he’d lost 25 pounds in order to get into the best shape of his life. Not long later photos of the future Hall of Fame tight end working out in Miami hit social media.

Big Yeti' Travis Kelce goes shirtless in Miami after sweaty NFL training session - NewsBreak

Kelce was spotted taking off his shirt to reveal his luscious locks and hefty beard are just the tip of the iceberg for the Chiefs star. He has the back hair to…back it up – and he’s not afraid to say so. During the latest New Heights episode, Kelce admitted he’s not a fan of the heat because he’s a “furry son of a b****.”

“Me and heat just don’t do well together,” he quipped.

Three years ago, Kelce’s older brother, former Philadelphia Eagles star offensive lineman Jason Kelce shared with fans where Travis got his nickname “Big Yeti,” nodding to Travis’ body hair.

“You guys haven’t seen the Yeti come out of here,” the Chiefs star responded while tugging his shirt collar down to reveal a hint of his chest hair. “You don’t want to see the Yeti come out.”

“When Trav was at Cincinnati, he would play basketball in the playground quite a bit,” Jason explained. “And anyone who has ever played pickup basketball, you know there’s shirts and skins.”

Now they know.
