Green Bay Packers sign veteran cornerback Gregory Junior, release  cornerback Kaleb Hayes - Yahoo Sports

GREEN BAY − The Green Bay Packers announced roster moves Wednesday, signing cornerback Gregory Junior and releasing cornerback Kaleb Hayes.

Junior was drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the sixth round of the 2022 NFL Draft after playing collegiately for Ouachita Baptist in Arkansas. The 6-foot, 203-pounder was the first draft pick in the school’s history.

Junior played in 10 games with 112 defensive snaps, lining up outside and in the slot, for the Jaguars between 2022 and 2023. He recorded 17 tackles (11 solo), two tackles for loss and a pass defended. He was released by Jacksonville during the 2024 training camp and spent time on the practice squads for the Indianapolis Colts and Houston Texans.

Junior will wear No. 38 for the Packers.
