THE Cleveland Browns are set to make a major roster decision that will benefit Shedeur Sanders, it’s been claimed.
The franchise snapped up the 23-year-old as the 144th overall pick of last month’s NFL Draft.

The decision to sign Sanders perplexed many given the talent the Browns already have at quarterback.
But according to reports, the Browns brass could soon let one of their QBs go.
That’s according to Bleacher Report, who claim Joe Flacco could soon find himself a free agent again.
Reporter Kristopher Knox wrote: “The Browns won’t have Deshaun Watson in 2025, after he suffered two consecutive Achilles tears.
“However, they traded for Kenny Pickett before drafting both Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders.
“The Browns probably won’t carry four quarterbacks into the regular season, and the 40-year-old Flacco simply doesn’t carry long-term value.”
Flacco, 40, spent the 2024 NFL season with the Indianapolis Colts.
He went 2-4 in six starts with 1,761 yards, 12 touchdowns and seven interceptions while being on the receiving end of 18 sacks.
It was announced last month that he’d return to the Browns on a one-year deal worth $4.25million.
The potential axing of Flacco could result in former Colorado Buffaloes standout Sanders receiving more game time in his rookie season.

He will likely battle it out with fellow 2025 draftee Dillon Gabriel to be the deputy to Kenny Pickett.
