The Chiefs’ schedule is looking incredibly front-loaded with the latest rumor that has the Baltimore Ravens coming to Arrowhead in Week 4. Every one of the Chiefs’ toughest opponents all seem like they’re in the first half of the year.
A meaningless Week 18?
The Las Vegas Raiders are reportedly going to be the final contest of the regular season for the Chiefs. This could prove serendipitous in a couple of ways for the Chiefs, either as a sort of bye week before the postseason or as an easier win if things are tight in the race for the division or conference.
Texans visit on Sunday in primetime
We already knew the Chiefs would max out their primetime opportunities in 2025, and one of them will be a fun contest against the visiting Houston Texans on Sunday Night Football at Arrowhead. This year’s game between the Detroit Lions and Chiefs was already one of the more exciting matchups on the calendar for either team, given that they both won 15 games a year ago. While the Lions flamed out in the postseason, their Week 6 showdown at Arrowhead was given an SNF slot for good reason.

For season-ticket holders at Arrowhead, the home slate is going to be a thrilling one in 2025. However, that makes life extremely tough for the Chiefs to maintain their level of regular-season success. Last year, they won 15 of 17 games, and one of those losses included rolling over for the Broncos in a meaningless Week 18.
That said, the Chiefs’ point differential of +59 wasn’t all that convincing for many analysts, and given the gauntlet of a much-improved AFC West in recent years, K.C. could have a harder time than they have in years to win the division. Add in scheduled home contests against the Ravens, Commanders, Lions, and Eagles for a brutal stretch for the team and a thrilling slate for football fans.
