Well, it looks like the New England Patriots won’t be going overseas this year.

On Tuesday, the NFL leaked a portion of the 2025 regular-season schedule, revealing this year’s international matchups. The Patriots were not included in any of the games.

New England’s options for international games were limited. Because home teams had already been designated, there was really only one possibility for the Patriots to take part in an international game.

That was in Madrid, Spain. We already knew the Miami Dolphins were the designated “home” team for that game. Since the Patriots have a road game against the Dolphins, the possibility was on the table.

Instead, the Dolphins will face the Washington Commanders on Nov. 16 as part of a Week 11 matchup.

5 biggest storylines of the 2025 NFL offseason

Here’s the full list of international games revealed Monday:

Week 1: Chargers vs. Chiefs in Sāo Paulo, Brazil

Week 4: Vikings vs. Steelers in Dublin, Ireland

Week 5: Vikings vs. Browns in London, England

Week 6: Broncos vs. Jets in London, England

Week 7: Rams vs. Jaguars in London, England

Week 9: Falcons vs. Colts in Berlin, Germany

Week 11: Commanders vs. Dolphins in Madrid, Spain

The full NFL schedule is set to be released on Wednesday, May 14 at 8 p.m. EDT.
