BREAKING NEWS : Cowboys Are Selling George Pickens Jerseys, But There’s a Catch

The Dallas Cowboys provided a big answer to a clear need in the offseason, as they addressed their depth issues in the wide receiver position by getting George Pickens from the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Cowboys traded a 2026 third-round pick and a 2027 fifth-round pick to the Steelers in exchange for the former Georgia Bulldogs star wideout and a sixth-rounder in 2027.

It did not take much time for the Cowboys to start selling Pickens jerseys at the team’s official pro shop following the trade.

However, as noted by Jon Machota of The Athletic, the jerseys don’t have a confirmed number yet. Nevertheless, the items will be delivered once Pickens gets an official digit for his threads.

With Pickens now in Dallas, there is a palpable sense of excitement for the Cowboys, whose wide receiver room also features CeeDee Lamb.

Pickens is expected to form a dangerous 1-2 punch downfield for the Cowboys’ attack that finished the 2024 NFL season with an average of 227.2 passing yards per game.

Steelers wide receiver George Pickens (14) looks on in the third quarter against the Ravens.

Lamb led Dallas with 1,194 receiving yards, but no other Cowboy had more than 610. Pickens, meanwhile, has never collected fewer than 801 receiving yards in a season, through three years in the pros. In 2024, he had 900 receiving yards and three touchdowns on 59 catches and 103 targets.

It remains to be seen whether the outspoken Pickens will truly elevate Dallas’ offense, but there is certainly promise in the trio of Lamb, Pickens and star quarterback Dak Prescott, who is still recuperating from an injury.
