BREAKING NEWS : 🔥 Why This Top Free Agent Could Be the Perfect Fit for the Chiefs Before OTAs 👀

AFC Championship Game: Buffalo Bills v Kansas City Chiefs

As the Kansas City Chiefs’ offseason continues, there is no shortage of potential fits remaining both in the free agent and trade markets. While the Chiefs’ core remains intact, being the hunted for the last half-decade wears on a team. The Chiefs have done a great job over the last handful of years resetting and continually finding ways to breathe life into both sides of the ball. When you are afforded the offensive genius of Patrick Mahomes and head coach Andy Reid, your job grows far easier.

With this in mind, it wouldn’t be at all surprising to see the Chiefs look to make more than one veteran addition before camp. The biggest area of need remains bringing in additional weapons to help take pressure off Mahomes and Travis Kelce. Still, you can never have too many pass-rushing options, and one rotational veteran option should have the Chiefs’ full attention.

Von Miller Winning His Third Super Bowl in Kansas City Would Be a Storybook Ending for the Defensive Legend

Chiefs Just Made Free Agency Very Complicated for 2 Depth Pieces

It seems Von Miller picked the wrong AFC contender when opting to sign with Buffalo. After a handful of underwhelming seasons, the franchise moved on and released the veteran linebacker. This doesn’t come as a surprise when the Bills were paying Miller at the level of a star, while it is clear those days are behind the pass rusher. Still, there is incredible value in having Miller as a rotational pass rusher in the right defense.

If there is one team that is going to get whatever is left from Miller, it is the Kansas City Chiefs. Being able to bring in the former Bill would be a much-needed pass-rushing boost and steal from the Chiefs’ wishful rival in the process.

Miller spent time with the Broncos and Rams before landing in Buffalo, winning a Super Bowl in each previous location. It would be a perfect ending to the veteran’s career to sign with the Chiefs dynasty and help them achieve what would be Miller’s third ring and the Chiefs’ fourth.

Miller in Kansas City red feels right after his failed tenure with Buffalo. A signing that has the realistic expectations of an aging veteran who is coming in to rush the passer in very specific spots. It is the type of move the Chiefs have consistently made for the last five years and a move that would unquestionably excite the fanbase. It is at least worth exploring as the offseason continues.
