The 2025 NFL draft day is just around the corner, and Jalen Milroe is one of the top Quarterbacks expected to be in demand. Milroe played for one of the best college football teams, the Alabama Crimson Tide. The upcoming star recorded a 40-yard dash in just 4.37 seconds, and several teams have already kept an eye on him.
Acquiring Milroe is going to be a huge benefit for any NFL team. He could be a perfect fit anywhere, but the Cleveland Browns insider is pushing the team to consider him as the best pick.
Mary Kay Cabot thinks Jalen Milroe can top Lamar Jackson as the fastest QB in the NFL. While it might be a bold claim to compare the legendary Lamar Jackson, Cabot might be true with his words.
“If the Browns draft Hunter, they should also try to land Milroe, even if they have to trade back into the first round to get him. Milroe is too talented not to take a chance on him in the second half of the first round. He has 4.37 speed (40-yard dash) and would top Lamar Jackson as the fastest quarterback in the NFL. With athletes such as Hunter and Milroe on the unit, the Browns would become dangerous overnight,” Cabot said.

Mary Kay Cabot Says The Browns Must Commit To Jalen Milroe Like The Ravens
The insider also believes that the Cleveland Browns must fully commit to Milroe if they want to build a dual-threat like the Ravens. Cabot makes sense with his thoughts, but it’s not going to be easy. While it’s possible, it can also turn the other way around.
“The Browns would have to fully commit to the Milroe dual-threat bit like the Ravens have done, but they’re prepared to do that. They already have his former Alabama OC Tommy Rees in that capacity here, so they’re ahead of the game. They know the ins-and-outs of Milroe, and are well aware of his enormous upside,” Cabot continued.

It turns out that Cabot is not the only one who thinks Jalem Milroe can top Lamar Jackson. The Browns’ general manager, Andrew Berry, also feels the same. In fact, Berry thinks that Milroe will be the only quarterback who can be quicker than Lamar Jackson.

Regardless of where Milroe lands, the young player is in growing demand, and his future in the big leagues is undoubtedly bright.
