The Cincinnati Bengals have one of the best quarterbacks football. Joe Burrow has been one of the most talented NFL signal callers since he was drafted No. 1 overall in the 2020 NFL draft.
While Burrow is an extremely talented quarterback, he could use more help in one offensive area.
During the 2024 NFL season, the Bengals were led in rushing by Chase Brown, who had 990 yards and seven touchdowns on 229 carries. Those numbers weren’t bad at all, but adding another playmaker in the backfield could be of interest to Cincinnati.
With that in mind, there is one player who is receiving confirmed interest from the Bengals ahead of the 2025 NFL draft, which is scheduled to begin on April 24.
According to a report from ESPN NFL insider Jeremy Fowler, Cincinnati is showing interest in Ohio State Buckeyes’ running back TreVeyon Henderson. The Bengals are scheduled to meet with him this week.
Running back TreVeyon Henderson has multiple pre-draft visits lined up this week, including to the #Bengals, per source.

Henderson is coming off of a successful 2024 season with Ohio State. He was a key part of helping lead the Buckeyes to a national championship.
Throughout the course of the year, Henderson carried the football 144 times for 1,016 yards and 10 touchdowns, averaging an impressive 7.1 yards per carry. He also caught 27 passes for 284 yards and another touchdown.
Adding Henderson’s playmaking ability to the offense could help take more pressure off of Burrow.
NFL.com analyst Lance Zierlein has compared Henderson to current Minnesota Vikings running back Aaron Jones. If that comparison becomes a reality, Cincinnati would be getting a future star in the backfield if it lands the Ohio State standout.
