BREAKING: Chiefs Fans Know Of 1 Roster Spot With No ‘Panic’

For some NFL teams, the constant scramble to get a franchise quarterback is never-ending, and the Kansas City Chiefs landed the jackpot when they drafted Patrick Mahomes.

Other teams, such as the Buffalo Bills, Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, and Philadelphia Eagles, also possess star quarterbacks, but not everyone is as fortunate to have such a weapon leading the way.

In what is a neat exercise, Bleacher Report’s Moe Moton did a “panic meter” at the quarterback position for all 32 teams ,ranging from one (no panic) to 10 being alarm bells going off everywhere.

And for the Chiefs and their setup, there is no panic with meter reading one.

“The Kansas City Chiefs can look at their quarterback room and understand the sky isn’t falling after a Super Bowl loss,” Bleacher Report writes. “Mahomes is still the league’s most accomplished quarterback, and he has dominated his AFC foes in the playoffs. The Chiefs signed Minshew and re-signed Zappe. The former has an advantage over the latter in starting experience and will likely win the primary backup job. Oladokun will probably spend most of his time on the practice squad.”

That is no surprise as with Mahomes, the Chiefs will always be in with a shot of the Super Bowl, and with Gardner Minshew and Bailey Zappe, both of whom have experience in the league, it’s a solid room.

But while some are unsure of exactly what the Chiefs could be in 2025 after the Super Bowl loss and the free agency dealings, when you have No. 15 to settle it all down, there is no reason to panic.

Yes, the Chiefs lost the Super Bowl, but they did have a 15-2 record and won the AFC…again. So there is no reason to doubt Andy Reid’s team in 2025 until they give you a reason to, and with Mahomes still leading the way, it’s no wonder there’s no panic at the quarterback position.
